Does anybody know if any of the above States only have the State running things? Meaning States like New Jersey have Bet365, PointsBet, and a bunch of other private companies involved, and so do a bunch of other States. Any just have the State running the show?

The reason I ask is because every Province in Canada will have legal Sports Betting by years end, and the biggest Province (Ontario) will be up and running in early September.

Ontario is going to start off running shit themselves, which won't last long, the market is massive, within a year there will be a bunch of "big boy Sportsbooks" coming in on the action. But yes, to start things off, the Province will be taking control of the wagers.

I was just curious if any States did what Ontario did and kept the "big boys" out? And if so, any of those States still running it with no outside companies involved?
