Yet another guy who has gotten away with murder is richly rewarded.

In case some of you have forgotten in his rookie season which I believe was (99) Leonard little killed a woman (somebodies wife, sombodies daughter, sombodies mother) in a drunk driving accident on his way home from a banquet for the St. Louis Rams players. I cannot remember what kind of sentence he served, but it was obviously not long enough.

Now the Rams reward him with a 17.5 million dollar deal and a 5 million dollar signing bonus.

If this pissses anyone off because you are offended that I think he got off to easy too bad.

I have been hit by drunk drivers on 3 separate occasions.
Luckily the worst injury I ever sustained was a concussion after flying out of my windshield and smacking my head on the deck.

I was also hit by a drunk driver as a pedestrian but only got a hip pointer out of it. Lucky me.

Unbelievable...

I used to be guilty of getting behind the wheel after a few too many but now I refuse to drive after more than 1 or 2 drinks PERIOD! But I do agree with you, If that had been me or you we would be enjoying the nice confines of our 12x8 foot recreation facility! The law sucks, If you are famous or Rich you need not apply to Penal Code!

I agree that his professional status helped out but he has to live with this the rest of his life.I believe he got 90days in jail and a 5yr probation. Also has to do like 500 community hours. My brother played at Tennessee from 98-2000.He was at a team meeting where Little spoke to the team about drinking +driving and said Little cried and said his life would never be the same knowing he had to live with such guilt. Its easy to take shots at him but Im sure he wishes that day never came.It was his 22nd birthday and he ran a redlight in his Navigator. As far as the money goes...he got what the market for a All Pro DE pays. The one that gets me was the Lewis BS.NOBODY got convicted and Lewis testified against his gangbanging friends. How does 3 guys kill 2 guys and nobody go to jail?????

Well said and you can add Ray Lewis to that list too. The bottom line for little though is that he still gets to live his life. What a second chance he got. Like Bluemound said the rest of us would live in a 12x8 or worse and be gettiing pounded in the butt by Nasty Nate and his naughty jungle of love.
