Lets get opinions on BC/ST Johns

ok seriously with all that went on this week at st. Johns is there any reason they won't get BLOWN out? :shrug:

There only dressing 8 players today.....................they lost 3 starters ..................lost there best player.........................

Now I know BC isn't the power of the big east but if ever you were going to get a road win in the big east this is the spot.

How but some opinions......................

Boston College by 18, they were not very good to start with, now I think they have reached bottom.

Too scary for me with everyone knowing about this whole scandal.....line has jumped 3 points since it opened.

Make no mistake this St Johns team that they will throw out there will be horrible.....but I just cant do it.


The smartest play out there is to take BC on the moneyline at -600

I parlayed them with Maryland on the ML.

500 to win like 250

Seems like easy money to me.....

NOw that I think about it...................st johns was really struggling then last week they shocked everybody and whacked ucla..............then they came to pitt and got whacked..........happens to alot of people there............then all hell broke loose...................theres no way they can come back from this......................I bet jarvis is actually glad he's gone now cause he deserved better then whats going on at st johns

I was very surprised by the low #.It seems to easy.Didn't this
happen to NOVA last year or something very similar.Some kind of
telephone deal.Everybody was against them b-cuz the only had
7-8 players,really no starters.They came out and played inspired
ball and stayed within the#.St Johns was bad to start with.I was
all over the line at 9.I'm sure this puppy is going to rise big time.

This is Villanova from last year all over again. If I remember correctly, they were hosting Pittsburgh and managed to hang tough by using the full shot clock everytime down the floor. Even so, I think St. Johns would have lost by 6-10 with their starters now they are down to just 2 and players coming off the bench who have barely seen the floor all year. I am definitely laying the 10.5. Dont be surprised though to see a little charity coming from the refs and allowing the Johnnies to get away with a little more.

Hey Fatman, not sure if you follow St. Johns but Jarvis is the cause of all this and the only thing he derserves to do is give back all the salary that he stole from this University. I am so glad he is gone, he absolutely destroyed this program. Its also funny how a man who preached ethics had a team full of corrupt players who smoked pot and banged hookers

I am telling you, you will feel more comfortable just playing BC moneyline and if you want a strong play....play the under.

ST Johns will have no choice but to slow this game down to a snails pace......Just my opinion

well I guess they knew what they were doing then huh?
The kicker is not only did these kids get suspended from the team they were expelled thats some serious chit

that will follow them to other schools if they try to go elsewhere

Guys,only 3 players and 4 walk ons.Johnson the 7'2 kid cannot play.He will try and get 10 minuts.He has a medical problem.Something about his ankes.Like their fused or something.So he runs the floor like "Lurch" dragging a foot.And he has no hands either.
Think they will put him in the middle of the zone and play "stautue of liberty"defense.
also officials will be kind to the Johnnies today.But think this game isn't close at all.skinner will take it easy later in the game.
No pt in blowing out the Johnnies.Think they win by 15-20 like they did lyr .

with only 8 players available and most of those being backups and waterboys fatigue will be huge..this kids aren't used to getting substantial minutes............watch for alot of mental mistakes on st. johns part later in the game, even if they do play a slow down game
