Let's pull a fire alarm in Congress and see what happens....

i just saw this story. and, of course, the republicans who necessitated this crisis are all up in arms about the fire alarm. comparing it to the rioters on january 6th.
and good ol' elise stefanik, one of the biggest turds in the shit pile, had this to say...
But House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) mentioned the fire alarm pull in a press conference, saying the stopgap passed “despite House Democrats attempts to delay, to obstruct, and to even pull a fire alarm to stop this important vote from happening.”
never one to care about facts, she spewed that stupidity despite the fact that most dems voted FOR the bill INCLUDING rep. Bowman, who pushed through the fire door.
i've said it before, and i'll say it again... we need a strong republican party. but this current group in congress is a pathetic joke. as long as their voters don't demand the truth, i guess why should they bother?

Great example of today's political atmosphere. You'll have a hard time finding anyone here that won't condemn the actions of this guy for pulling the fire alarm. It's too bad we can't get the same thing when people storm the Capitol building and try to overturn the results of the election by using fake electors.
