Maybe its time to give it a rest for a day or two and honor all those lives that were lost. We can catch up in a day or two.

it is hard to put away the shock and anger, and many of us have expressed it here. it is one way of letting it out. this forum has become part of our household for some of us.

the visionary thread was one of shock, being in the area of the attacks, and told of his innermost feelings and spontaneous reaction. teddy kept his cool, despite his background, etc. i kept seeing the photos on aol in disbelief, first, as i heard of the planes crashing, then the horror of the towers coming down. not out of curiosity, but disbelief, not unlike the death of someone close, where we still don't accept what happened.

it won't stop because we also fear the unknown, and don't really know if this is the beginning of a pattern or an isolated incident, so we keep letting it out.

we want revenge, punishment, but there isn't one physical country at war. it is a palestinian/jewish thing that has hit home and we must find a way to solve it quick and without hesitation. none of the bs of courts and years waiting for trials. we want action now!! let someone else take us to court for a change!!!

It would be nice to move on, and start to think about NFL games again. Problem is, everytime I do, I hear the interview of the guy live on the street after the first crash and listen to his live reaction of the second plane hitting the building. That is just stuck in my head. I am a thousand miles away, and it still hits hard.

Let's take a break and honor those lost.

ps- The beloved Pack do not want to play in NJ this weekend... no surprise.

i heard a story about a woman , who had just met the man (he was in prison) who had raped and murdered her 13 year old daughter. She told the man to his face that she forgives him for what he has done and that she loves him. The man wept with love for this woman and said he is truly sorry for what he has done. Is this woman wrong for showing no hatred for this man ? Is it wrong she doesn't want to see this man dead ?Or is it up to God to serve justice.......

Welcome aboard ahjoah!

Most people use an introduction like, "I've been a lurker for quite some time", or "Hello, my name is and I'm a big (fill in the blank)'s fan.

This would be classified as General Discussion.

I just don't want this to run like a wild fire throughout the whole forum. Nothing personal and I'm not trying to act as the moderator...

wormdog- was listening to 670 wscr sports radio out of chicago - they broke the news. Switched over to 620 wtmj out of Milwaukee and that is where I heard the live interview with a passerby guy who described the 2nd crash as it happened.
