It's never too early to talk football!!!!! Been doing some mock drafts and seeing some good things. One question I want to throw out there is why Matt Forte's stock has dropped so much from last season?? I realize he had a very down year compared to his rankings, but he's still the #1 back until someone knocks him off...Chester Taylor? I don't think so. With Martz there I see Forte possibly getting back to solid numbers running and catching. I've noticed in these mock drafts that Forte is being over looked and available very late. I see him as a STEAL getting him in rounds 5-6-7 or so.....

One thing is Taylor will be the third down back. Plus their run blocking sucks and Cutler likes to throw it and so does Martz... Add that with last season's results and then you have so many other backs to choose from.. :shrug: He is worth a flyer in mid rounds..

Got some good points BP.....I've noticed that the legit running backs are super thin this year. The mid-round backs seem to be backs that split time. I can see Forte having a bounce back year since everyone seems to be doubting him. Especially getting more receiving yards.

Speaking of the Bears....I LOVE Johnny Knox!!!! Super sleeper WR!!!

What does everyone think of this Ryan Mathews kid for SD??? Is he worth a 1st round pick?? I see him going very fast in these mock drafts.....Don't know much about him.

Knox definite sleeper. Watch out for Stafford in his second year at QB.. Has weapons and should be behind..

My 4 for sures are Peyton, MJD,Calvin Johnson,taking a shot on Crabtree, and undecided between Sidney Rice and Moreno??
Be a no brainer if Favre was not coming back but finding it very tough decision right now.....help?

I love Sidney Rice!!!! Now that Favre is back......$$$$!!! I am very high on Crabtree also, BUT the big ? is who will be throwing to him...Alex Smith! The only negative there. I'd rather have a receiver who I know has the more accurate QB who puts the ball up.

If you have to choose between Rice and Moreno....NO BRAINER!!! Rice ALL DAY!!!

One thing about rice is that he is banged up. Play by play announcer is thinking that he might not be back for the opener?:shrug: Hard to tell what is going on in Viking land with injuries cause Chile likes to hide shit..

I have the 7th pick in a 10 team league, and not sure who to take. The major key is we play 1 point per reception for RB's. So I thinks I should be able to get either Turner, or the Rookie from San Diego, but Turner does not get any catches. Should I look at someone else? My next question is what do i do with my 2nd pick? Should I go WR, or QB? By the time it gets back to me, one or both of these positions we have all the top players gone. In our league last year 8of the top 10 wereQB's, and 4 of the top 20 were WR's. Please help.
