About to start another one.....I love bowl week. People who hate it must not like football or gambling or both!!

Croom has his boys fired up. And, its a chance to see if Kevin Smith has the goods or is a product of a lesser conference.

Or they are named "my girlfriend." According to her I become a "zombie" during bowl week. And March Madness, and the Super Bowl, and... you get the picture. :SIB

Let me be the first to say it.

These quarterbacks suck.

Thats really been the theme of Bowl Season so far....makes you wonder how bad the QBs are on the teams that didn't get a bowl invite!!

Not sure we're going to see good QB play tonight either in the Alamo Bowl.

Speaking of terrible QBs, I thought I was watching Michael Vick when watching Tyler Lorezen in the UCONN game (without the scrambling ability of course).

Holding the ball too long, missing WIDE OPEN receivers because he felt the need to rifle the ball as hard as he could, instead of just passing them the ball (so of course the ball sails 5 feet over their heads). That's vintage Ron Mexico right there baby.

I think we should keep our respective girlfriends from ever meeting each other!!!!

She does have a passion for college sports, at least, an has no problem with the gambling habit, even looks at the spreads with me at times and will make a play or two.

But she thinks I am total nerd with the whole multiple TVs set up I have and just makes all sorts of fun at me as she watches my eyes dart from TV to TV...she likes to say, the outcome of the games wont change if you dont watch, so how about we go to a movie tonight! When she breaks that line, I know its gotten out of hand and its time to spoil her a bit.....and fire up the Tivo!!

I can't believe that I bet on a Conference USA team over an SEC team. I know its early but C Fla has only gained 12 yards on 3 possessions.:scared

Absolutely. I'm currently getting "the eye" because we're supposed to go to the store. You're not alone, my girlfriend thinks I'm a geek too. And she's not far off on that assessment. :SIB

I try to fall back on the fact that she was a great softball player in her day. Unfortunately that doesn't translate into her liking to watch sports.

Seriously, how long will it take for this idiot to realize he doesn't have to throw one pass for the rest of the game if he doesn't want to?
