LIke the Angels to sweep the Bosox...Wakefield can be just the thing to cool down the Angels with his knuckleball but think tha Garland can be equally effective shutting down the Bosox..Garland at hime is tough...Bosox aren't hitting right now and Garland may have the best stuff on the staff...see the Bosox geting no more than 3 today...don't think Wakefield totally shuts down the Angels and they put up at least 4 on him..Angels 6 Bosox 1.

Like the Nats as a big dog...just don't think the Braves are that good..McCan will probably sit today as it's a day game with a lefty throwing..he's one of their key hitters..Perez can be effective..Reyes and Perez are somewhat similiar...NATS are playing hard for their manager..they've got all their head cases either hurt or benched...the starters are a bunch of unknowns or lousy players..but they are all playing for a position..Nats 4 Braves 3.

Like the Rockies on RL..Cook is top-notch, Duke is not...lineups are about even with maybe a slight edge to the Rockies..starters, however, are a big difference...Rockies playing good ball right now...think the get to Duke and in a big way...Cook holds them down for 7 at least...Rockies 8 Pirates 3.

GL today.....gotta disagree with your Angels analysis though. Garland has actually been better away from home this season. His stats are not that impressive at home. As far as the Sox not hitting right now...they're hitting .291 L/10 games against righties. That's pretty solid. I do agree with the low scoring affair, but I see the Sox coming out on top avoiding the sweep. GL with your other plays!

Adding the Rangers as a dog and sticken with the Angels

Adding the Rangers as a dog and sticken with the Angels

Baker has been lights out for the last several starts..and that's why I like the Rangers...why? I don't think Baker has that great a stuff that he can win 4-5 straight..he's a "pitcher" in that he knows how to pitch...but if he's off even a little bit, think he will get hit...and the Rangers have the kind of hitters who can do him damage...Padilla has the stuff but not nearly the pitcher...when's he's on, he can be close to unhittable..so I think we'll see both today...Rangers 8 Twins 2.

And sticken with the Angels...good ponts about Garland being better on the road...but regardelss, he's got really tough stuff...regardless of Bosox average, they've look real ordinary for the past few weeks..Rays shut them down..now the Angels..they miss Big Popi..Youkliiss will do his swan song shortly...Bosox win a lot by being patient and getting a lot of walks...Garland is not one to give them up...just don't like the sox right now..Wakefield might be the answer but ya never know...think the Angles put up a crooked number on him in the first 5.

Wouldn't be shocked to see the NATS win more than Braves in the 2nd half

See the Nats maybe being a 450 team the rest of the year...they have a good skipper a few good starters and hungrey players (they know all jobs are open)..Braves on the downslide..Jones will probably end around 240 and will probably get hurt..Glavine over the hill and hurt..best starter Jurrens got rocked..Reyes too..they might finish the year at a 400 clip..maybe time for their skipper to hang em up..rebuilding time I'm afraid...

Jones will end up at 340 not 240...still a great season for him....Nats will finish something like 70-92 and the Braves 73-89 if I were to guess.
