they don't.
if you look really close (in fact write all the cards down you first see) none of the cards from the "pick" screen are on the "where's your card" screen.

all the cards from the first screen are gone ... not just the card you picked.

Sorry, that does not explain it. Thought it did. All of the cards on the second go 'round are completely different than the first.
