Jets +3 1/2 and ML +$155.....I'll take Fitzgerald over Manuel in this one as the main reason for picking the Jets...neither team has anything to play for...Bills already fired their coach...Jets stopped playing for theirs..so that's kind of a push...but Fitzgerald is capable of putting up some points (also capable of giving up points)..but think he goes out on top today as his final game with the Jets (I'm assuming he won't be back next year)...Jets 27, Buffalo 10
Cleveland + 5 /12 and ML +$190..as I mentioned last week, RG3 will play good enough to confuse Brown's mgt with what to do next year...RG3 played just good enough to screw up the Skins for 3 years...until they figured out he was the 3rd best QB on the team....same thing is going to happen in Cleveland I think...he is playing for a $9M option and two wins in a row will go a long way in him getting it...I could see the Browns drafting a QB as well..but it doesn't have to be the number 1, number 1....there's no lock QB out there for the number 1 pick like an Elway, or Luck....so think the Browns play this game all out...Steelers resting 3 best offensive players...Landry Jones will just try to run the clock out in this one...RG3 and Browns 24, Steelers 13.
Saints + 7 1/2....Saints are playing hard still...Breeze has been totally on his game with his receivers the last few....total shootout possible...but I always like Breeze and the Saints to get a late TD to close the gap...I could see a backdoor cover...37-34 type game...the extra 1/2 point doesn't hurt...Saints also playing for 500 record and both Breeze and Peyton I think want that bad...an upset is possible but I'll jut take the points.
Eagles -4 1/2 over Cowboys...Cowboys will be resting their starters...Eagles and Wentz playing really good ball lately...Cowboys with Sanchez might be good for 17-20 points...Eagles good for 27+,,,,Eagles 28, Boys 17
Denver - 1 1/2...Denver will show some pride in this last game I think with Kubiak maybe retiring...this combined with Oakland having to adjust to a new QB...Del Rio has done a great job with the Raiders getting them up and winning away games they should have lost...but think this one they come up short...have no idea how this new QB for the Raiders will perform but coming to the hostile and cold environment in Denver is not a good place to start his career...Denver's front 7 will confuse the heck out of him I think...Denver goes out on a positive note Denver 24, Oakland 10.
KC -4 1/2...think KC gets the bye with Oakland going down...Rivers has looked horrible for about a month now...his passes lack zip and they are coming up short...no good receivers either...San Diego's D line was their strength but they are hurt and double they'll dominate today..this is a game KC will not let up in I don't think...San Diego will be "No Mas"...KC 31, San Diego 17.
And teasing these games with the Skins +7 point teaser is worth some bucks.....Josh Johnson expected to close this game out for the Giants....he's been around a bit and he'll be throwing to backups in 2nd half...unless the Skins really dump in the 1st half, I like their 2nd half changes to at least win this game...DC will be in shock and mourning for months if they lose this one...Skins 33, Giants 23.
Tease ( 7 point) Skins also with NE -1 and Seattle -2...don't see either of these two losing today...NE wants home field and Dolphins I think will play real conservative...Seattle probably will blow our SF...losing two in a row going into the playoffs I doubt would happen...and SF is just a mess...dysfunctional org with little talent and a lousy coach...they probably are the team who most just want's their season to end.
