I've accepted the fact that vegas is better at determining the line than I am, so if they say it shouldn't be more than 2...who am I to argue? There must be a reason why the line is not higher.

i don't think there is any angle here. that is where they split the bets, with oak just barely a favorite. it is a tough choice; offhand you would expect oak to barely squeak by, or perhaps just barely lose.

i don't believe the game is that easy, as it will require a bunch of further mistakes by the giants to put it in oak's hands. i think one of the reasons why the minny defense rose to the ocassion was moss's performance, not the half-time activities, something that had been lacking for quite some time.

precisely for the reasons stated above, i am not considering this game one way or the other, not even for a teaser, unless it is of the 13 point variety, as i expect the score will fall within that range, either way.

what looked easier, or safer last week to the naked eye, if not g.b. winning, even if not covering? all teasers, except the 13 pointers, lost with g.b.

I think that Oak is a big public play. If you look at one of the bigger consensus sites, you will see that Oak currently has the biggest consensus, at over 70%.
I do believe that a lot of people are biting on this line. That's not to say that they are wrong, but it does show that most people find this line very appealing.

my original lean was to Oakland. after further review I decided to pass on this game. There are much more appealing choices out there. Oak should win, bust just when you think the Giants and Collins are dead, thats when they play the game of their lives. Final Answer: PASS

lets try not to over analyze, thats what i did with the monday night game and it cost me.

i thought, this is easy the vikes will cover two points no problem!!! went huge on the game. then over thought over capped, hedged my bet and didnt win shit.

Giants know they are going nowhere this year. they have no offense, takeing Oak -2
