Which books have lines up already for the Olympics? I'm looking for lines on specific events, not just medal count and such. If anyone knows of a book that is offering, let me know.

Thanks.

Ironically, Olympic hasn't got lines up yet. But they do have competitors listed that they will carry for Men's track, basketball, swimming, baseball, cycling & tennis, and Women's tennis, basketball & trialthlon.

One bet I may be looking for (though she may be the favorite when the odds come out, I am not sure) is Canada's Perdita Felicien in women's hurdles. She has been just murdering the competition leading up to the games. Looks to be at the peak of her craft right now & probably the best in the world. Just hoping the odds aren't too prohibitive.

(edit) Just noticed the Men's Baseball listing. Did the USA fail to qualify?? Canada and Cuba are the only teams listed from the Americas...wtf? Is the USA really not there??

Wow...how did that happen? Surely the USA has enough college-level players who are good enough to form a very competitive team.

Canada has a medal shot? Well, I guess they do have a 3 out of 8 chance at this point. Is Ernie Whitt still the coach?

(edit) I'm surprised the Canadian government didn't prevent the team from attending. They've held back numerous athletes from these games who met the Olympic standards, but failed to meet the unrealistically-high Canadian standards in their individual sports. The gov't wants to spend as little money as possible and send only those who will win medals or come very close this time around. Had they done this in the last Olympics a number of athletes who ended up winning medals for Canada would not have even been in Sydney. A real shame.
