Taking a look at Yale PK at Brown. . . line opened as Yale laying 2 going on the road after losing to Brown at home by 12. Both teams have nearly even records except Brown has one extra loss. Brown has had six days to think about this one after facing Yale while Yale had to play a game between the two against Brown and lost to Army.

So why does this line look so inviting to take Brown? After a closer look at the game played on the 18th between these two, Yale outrebounded Brown 43 to 31 but the reason they lost was FG% as they shot 38% to Brown's 47%. . . Yale also had nine more turnovers than Brown. Concern is Brown's Hunt who obvioulsy couldn't be contained by Yale as he got to the line frequently and ended up taking sixteen free throw attempts. . . nearly half of Brown's total free throw attempts. He ended up with 32 points overall.

In the end, and despite the fact that Hunt could be dominant again, I'm thinking about playing Yale for a decent play. Small card for Friday and there's no way Vegas is handing out a gift before the weekend. I think they're trying to burn some Brown players huge to get a nice little start heading into the weekend.

Will wait and see how the line moves on this one. If it heads back in Yales favor, I'll jump on it. If it slowly moves in Browns favor, I'll wait as long as I can and then jump on it.

Also looking into Marist, but can't see myself making any big plays for Friday when Saturday should present a lot of good opportunities.

Good luck tomorrow, I'm not going to play any games. I'll be back tomorrow night with Saturday's games. It looks like it could be another big day for us. :spotting:

Can understand why you're taking Friday off G. . . i should probably do the same, but will not play anything major till Saturday.

Like that one as well Tony. . . its just difficult for me to rationalize any big plays for Friday when Saturday should be a nice card.

Also, the way I've been winning lately is going with mostly home teams and here I am looking into three road teams. Will tread lightly if anything and I plan on watching the lines for all three games very closely.

Thanks for the feedback Nickelback.

Lastly, do you have any thoughts on Rider at home -2? This team is in a 8 game losing streak and need a win badly. Can't see a better place than to do it at home .

Good luck to you as well.

Checked into that one as well. . . problem is that both teams are struggling. Difficult to know which team is really gonna step it up and win this game. You'll basically be putting you money on a bad team either way and hoping the other team plays worse!

If I had to pick, I'd probably go with Rider being at home and on their current skid. But I'd be forcing a play and just don't see a reason to do it with Saturday looming.

I think you should also note that the Yale-Brown game was played last Saturday but was supposed to be on Friday. It was postponed because of that accident that killed several Yale students earlier on Friday. This was their first game after the accident. I can't imagine that didn't have at least a small effect.

Very good point about the accident. . . had to have been at least in the back of the Yale player's minds given the game was played at home and probably made it difficult to get up for the game.

Gonna go with Yale PK for an average play and call it a night. . .when I get to these Friday games, I try to think about whether or not I would even play this or any of the Friday games if they were on a Tuesday or Thursday or any other day with a lot more games/options. I'm pretty sure I would play Yale even on a Saturday, but wouldn't go with any of the others on this Friday card.

GL all!

Remember that Skynard song "Ooh Ooh That Smell"? That's all I could think of today when I was thinking about the lines on tonite's games.

Thanks for posting your insights, they was very helpful.

I think you're on the right side with Yale but I think they started struggling way before last week's car accident.

I think we'll see a different Yale team show up tonite.
