Taking a look at Yale PK at Brown. . . line opened as Yale laying 2 going on the road after losing to Brown at home by 12. Both teams have nearly even records except Brown has one extra loss. Brown has had six days to think about this one after facing Yale while Yale had to play a game between the two against Brown and lost to Army.
So why does this line look so inviting to take Brown? After a closer look at the game played on the 18th between these two, Yale outrebounded Brown 43 to 31 but the reason they lost was FG% as they shot 38% to Brown's 47%. . . Yale also had nine more turnovers than Brown. Concern is Brown's Hunt who obvioulsy couldn't be contained by Yale as he got to the line frequently and ended up taking sixteen free throw attempts. . . nearly half of Brown's total free throw attempts. He ended up with 32 points overall.
In the end, and despite the fact that Hunt could be dominant again, I'm thinking about playing Yale for a decent play. Small card for Friday and there's no way Vegas is handing out a gift before the weekend. I think they're trying to burn some Brown players huge to get a nice little start heading into the weekend.
Will wait and see how the line moves on this one. If it heads back in Yales favor, I'll jump on it. If it slowly moves in Browns favor, I'll wait as long as I can and then jump on it.
Also looking into Marist, but can't see myself making any big plays for Friday when Saturday should present a lot of good opportunities.
