Being a forever a lions fan I think I`ve got this one nailed. {sucks to be me}. From the way minny played last week NO WAY LIONS COVER THIS WEEK! I know its in Detroit, i know the lions play well at home, well usally, i know they covered last 7 of 8 {i think} BUT thier defense SUCKKKKS! There is no way they`ll keep up with minny on the board. Iknow minn sucks too, but bottom line is I`ll be making a HUGE small play on minn. is there such a bet?

How can you bet Minnesota on the road? They aren't average on the road; they're terrible. The only ways to play this are Detroit or pass the game.

how can i bet on minny? reality of it is that i`m betting against the lions. i`ve made money on lions last few weeks, but sorry guys, this will be easy for minny in the silverdome, lions have kept scores close but i dont think they score a lot of backdoor points in this game to keep close. but waht hell do i know, i had rams over sunday.

Hawk,

After reading your post, I feel that the play for this game is the OVER. Detroit had an off offensive showing last week, and they will be ready to play at home. In the dome, so Moss will be flying. It seems like the new QB and Moss are connecting. Neither team has a good defense, this is going OVER

interesting game. I've bet on detroit pretty big for the past 4 weeks and have included them in straight up, parlay, and teaser bets. Every weekend. They've been very impressive up until the last minutes of the game to usually lose. They had me sold on thanksgiving day. The quarterback situation really doesn't bother me because McMahon has looked better than batch since he came in and Bauman almost came back and beat pitt 2 weeks ago and had no problem with the titans last weekend. The question is, since detroit is 0-12, when will they hang it up? They've covered for me the past 4 weeks and I think this weekend may be the one where they snap. I don't care is MINN is on the road, b/c it's on turf. just like their home. 3 points isn't enough value, IMO, to take detroit. I could be wrong, detroit could be fired up and want to draw blood... The question is, Can they draw it?

2 rookie QBs making their 2nd start. Maybe a good under play. I'm not so sure Moss shows up; so far he hasn't on the road.

I don`t have stats to back this up, but most of Minns. bad road record I believe is in open air stadiums and on grass. FWIW.

Good luck all.

I agree on Minny. I got a small write-up as to why in my thread.
BTW - Culpepper is playing.

I live in MN. It looks as if Culpepper will wil starting. I think MN wins this one fairly convincingly. This is a much better team than only a few weeks ago. Especially on pass defense. If Minny gets out early, they could run away with this one. Indoors, fast track...Moss, Bennett, Culpepper & Carter.
