Det looked horrible against the Falcons. They got beat on both sides of the ball. Minn should be able to close out their season with a win !

Good Luck I am on it also !

Totally agree. If I was to name a top play for week 17, this would be it. But, being from Minny, I won't do that on my team.

Vikings are motivated and have played very good football the last several weeks. Both on offense (#1 NFC) and defense (from #16 NFC to #10 in the past three weeks), this team has begun to jell. Unlike in Detroit, this team knows it has a future and with only a few changes will be a playoff contender in 2003. The players clearly like Coach Tice.

This team is also not motivated toplay for draft position. It has around $30M available under the salary cap for next year and will spend it to shore up their weeknesses.

I look for a huge effort and win by Minny to close out the 2002 season. There is major optimism by the local faithful.

MN 31 DET 14.

Its -3 at some outlets. Have to agree. It probably will be a public play, but sometimes the public cashes and I think they will here. The Vikings may have one of the most deceptive w/l records in the league.

Liking Minn. also,1 problem taking them is Pro Football Weeklys 11 handicappers/ writers have Minn. 11 - Det. 0 , never a good situation.
Then again who wants to bet their money on a lameduck coach??? which Marty is.
I think it boils down to recent play by the Vikings, they're looking pretty good. a little to late.

Sorry I don't get around here much anymore. I have my lines set for Week 17. I have the Vikes by 5.

Not sure I'll play it til I see some more info. I here there is big trouble brewing in Detroit though. Don't think we'll hear anything until after Sunday. Strictly rumors so far.

Vikes took a while to get there water hot but its a cooking now. They want out on a high note and do play harder in there division games. Just ask GBay. They win this by 10.

No---at home@-7---can they bounce back, and if so can they cover

I dont see any way that the Falcons win this game in the cold air in Cleveland. The points should be with the Falcons. The Falcons are unable to cover the middle of the field passes. Couch will have a field day.

Couch will have a field day? Who cares? Have you seen the Cleveland defense at home? They absolutely suck. They will apply absolutely little or no pressure to Vick. They can't stop Dunn and Duckett. I am in Cleveland and the wind is calm and temps should be in the mid to upper 30's today. It actually feels nice outside. No problems kicking the ball or throwing.

Thanks TV.
Some games are hard to win, but they are all hard to lose.
You're only on the right side when they win. It just wasn't meant to be with Minn and Atlanta. I am just glad I didn't watch it.
Later.
