i know i don't post much, but i thought i would offer this analysis of tonight's game. as a graduate of the school, this is a must win for the toreros. team is on a crappy three game slide, even though it was against the three top teams in the conference, two of them on the road. now, back at home, i think they get it done in solid fashion tonight. at home, they have been averaging close to 75 points per game, while only giving up an average of 62. while they are pretty even in the rebounding and free throwing departments, they do hold an advantage in the FG%, 47 to 42, and 39 to 33 in the 3-point category. gay and vounang put up 48 points in their last game versus santa clara, and i look for them to come close to that tonight. another factor is revenge: they lost to lmu last year in san diego, 76-68. holland is 14-8 versus the lions in his career.
i make them the winner 81-70.
the opening line of 7 is right where i thought it would be. as fatass said in another thread, the line i have now is 5.5 and it may drop even more due to the 3 game slide and lmu's recent convincing win over pepperdine. i would also lean to the over 144.
gl in whatever you play.
