As a resident of South Florida and being 22 years old I have a lot of friends that attend the Unive of Miami....

Needless to say my friends are all sports maniacs like myself...

Anyways the Miami team has lost 2 straight road games vs very good teams in Uconn and St Johns...

Miami WILL NOT lose today vs a very sub par VA TECH team..

Every Position on the floor is a mismatch...

Perry Clark will have this Miami Team ready and think they will score 100;)

My good friend said that he has been in contact with some of the players and they are just itching to jump on the court and get back there RESPECT:cool:

We All know how much basketball players especially cocky Miami ones like there national attention.

So I hope this info helps.....

The Play
MF 90% Miami:p

I understand what your saying, but St John's didn't beat Miami, they beat themselves. The second half was a nightmare for them. As I watched them miss 3-point shot after 3-point shot, I had to wonder why their coach didn't pull the reigns in and make them get back to the fundamentals. Maybe the answer is they can't play that way. If that's the case this team will be inconsistant the rest of the year. They won't win consistantly by shooting nothing but 3 pointers. Not saying Va Tech is a good team, their not. I just don't know which Miami Team shows up. If Salmons and Barns put up 3 pointers that don't even hit the rim, then that needs to be controled. When 50% of your shots a from 3 point range, then you have to start questioning how much faith the coaching staff has concerning the inside game. Barnes is loose cannon on the floor. In the Georgetown game he took 12 shots, 9 of them were 3 pointers and he made only 3. In the St Johns game he took 16 shots, 10 of those were 3 pointers and he made 4. I would rather put my faith in a team that can find a way to put in a 10 ft jumper from in the paint then a 25 ft jumper from beyond the arc. The 10 ft jumper has a better percentage in my opinion.

Good Luck to you today.

And yes I had Miami over St. Johns :violin:

The info I wish I knew before I played Miami vs. St. Johns is Miami has been gone from home since 12/31 (according to ESPN)! Does anyone know if that is still the case? That's a long time for college kids to be away from home and stay focussed, let alone staying fresh and I could see that in the second half of St. Johns. That would be the only caution I would give before playing VT. Good luck...
