The contenders look to be:

Dynever
Mr. Technique
On The Border
Mauk Four
Crowned King
Defrere's Vixen

This one is an interesting race. There isn't a lot of speed and the top horses are closers. If a decent pace is run - not exception, just fair - the race could set up[ nicely for Dynever. Dynever keeps improving and looks to be ready to bust a huge race (although the last out wasn't too bad at all). Commander's Affair and Mauk Four should be on the lead. Dynever should be able to rate better than in the last. Running as well as the last should be sufficient to humble these.

I will likely key Dynever to the others in exactas and trifectas. On the Border looks ready to bust out based on its nice Beyer pattern. Mauk Four has really taken to routes and will be a factor,

I wish those darned foreign shippers (Desert Spirit) would stop showing up and confusing me regarding their ability.

Dynever could end up being one of the best 3 YOs. This race is a stepping stone for the Belmont. They could've went to Pimlico for the Preakness but by running this weekend Dynever will get an extra week of rest.
