Outright plays (2pts):
Gil Morgan to win 16/1 e.w. @ William Hill
Still the leading money winner on the Tour in 2004, Morgan should not be as high as these odds and particularly as both Weibring and Purtzer will not start. He didn't play last year in the first year on this course, but missing one year's course form is no real disadvantage, particularly in his 2004 form.
Mark McNulty to win 25/1 e.w. @ William Hill
McNulty was expected to be dominant on this Tour at the start of the season, particularly after he won in his first start, and was expected to be at single-figure odds ever since. But he struggled thereafter and is now available at much better odds. His form has improved considerably over the past month and with no significant loss of course knowledge this week, he should do much better than his odds predict.
Mark James to win 25/1 e.w. @ Stan James and Paddy Power
James has also shown improved form of late with top-4 finishes in two of his last three starts. He found his level on this Tour and ranks 1st in total driving. Both Stan James and Paddy Power place him outside the top-10 in their lists and he is a more competitive player than that.
