Wow, haven't posted for some time - life keeps getting in the way...
Hope all is well with all my old mates and fellow degenerates...
My kids and work still keep me way too busy, but have found time lately to start a blog on the work site....
It's a poker blog aimed at newbies/amateurs like myself, as there's a pretty big target market in NZ where poker is still a growing beast... I figured there were plenty of sites u can go to for advice if you're an experienced player, but fewer avenues for players still finding their way who won't be afraid to ask seemingly dumb questions and that share my enthusiasm on their path to learning their trade... esp in NZ where I have found lots of guys keen to get started but a bit uncertain as to how to go about it.

The Rugby World Cup starts in a couple of days, so hopefully I'll find a few lines that appeal and post some plays in the "Off The Wall" section... am hanging out for Wk 1 of the NFL too, almost there...

Good to see you again, Anders! I'm flattered that you remembered me. Don't work too hard and take more time to have fun with the family. They're only young once and life's too short to miss a thing!

Great to see ya back! You still at the same address? The 'please be q.p..........' one? If so, I forget which service it was. I think yahoo, but it goes back a couple years so i'm not sure. Yeah, I think we will win it this year, about time... I know lots of people will say we'll choke again but there's a lot more to like about the squad and coaching staff this time, and the other teams aren't as strong... won't be backing them tho, no real value in the prices... hope to play game by game tho...

Couldn't agree more... since the day my son was born, being a Dad has always been my #1 thing in life... I've been lucky enough to have jobs that have fitted my lifestyle pretty well and have spent a lot of time with them as they've grown... wouldn't have missed it for the world...

Still just the two kids - Son Niall turns 12 on Saturday, man, where the hell did those years go??!! He's getting into his golf and starting to push his old man along, but my short game still holds up :) ... just... he's an absolute sports nut, am starting to school him up as a handicapper and poker player :)
My daughter Merryn was 9 in March and is a standout dancer at both ballet and jazz and is going to break a lot of boys hearts in years to come, while I fire from the shotgun as they're running down the drive :)
