Been viewing this board for quite some time now, and I appreciate a lot of the information that many of you guys post. I have had a fairly profitable tournament this year as I did very well last weekend, but have given most of it back during the week. Had a poor night a couple of nights ago with Louisville blowing a big lead at home, and also Villanova blowing a comfortable lead late only to not cover the number. I did sneak a lucky win out with UNLV (end of the game drove me crazy) and won a M/L bet with Ball State. Lost big on Duke and Pitt last night, however. Looking at only one tonight:

Maryland -6

I think Maryland has a few things going in it's favor. I feel that they have a very balanced attack with perimeter scoring and some absolute beasts inside. Additionaly, I think guard play is so critical in the tournament and they are superior at the 1 and 2 over Ky. Kentucky scares me in that they have always been a dangerous tourney team and on a given night they can play with anyone in the country. They kind of remind me of UCLA in that regard. However, I just can't see how they can match up with the TERPS for 40 minutes and I think I'll make a solid play on Maryland.

Considered making a half time play on Maryland and then hedging depending on the outcome, but have decided to stick with initial intuition and play the -6.

G/L to all
