w Sox-not quite the price we got last night, but once again Yankees at home against rhp are a negative money proposition. Wells has struggled immensely. And w Sox surely weren't intimidated in the Bronx last night with Konerko Ordonez & the big hurt all going deep. Chicago worth a small shot again.
Cleveland -1.5, Tribe was a no play with Davis going. But with Mulholland we will take small shot it at run line. Detroit beat a lhp last night, we wager they can't do it 2 nights straight. Tigers a pathetic 8-31 against lefty pitching, and before last night they had only beat a lefty on the road twice.
Kansas City/May-May has won his last 2 yielding 3 runs or less. Major reasons for play are same as last night, Texas Poor road club that doesn't hit lhp (14-26) Anderson showed that last night. If not for Rafael, Royals would have shut them out. Royals have taken last 7 from Texas
Florida-Pittsburgh got a win surprisingly enough last night after big trade sending Giles to West Coast, Pirates very unhappy, hard to see them putting of much effort tonight. Florida should bounce nice after last nights lost.
Atlanta -1.5 actually like when Ramirez was listed better, but I'll play Maddux. Mets got their victory yesterday. Maddux keeps Piazza and other main Mets bats in check historically. Braves with best home record in majors should bounce nicely after disappointing loss.
St. Louis-Cubs something like 3-14 last 2 years at Busch, and they got their victory last night. Williams a home domination pitcher. Wood has struggled, no wins since early August. 8 era over last 3. Edmonds & Albert P both hit Wood pretty well. If this isn't enough Raymond & gsp both like cards.
Milwaukee/Franklin-ready for this Milwaukee hottest team in MLB 8 St. wins, hitting over 300 as a team over this stretch. Franklin almost threw a no no last outings against Pittsburgh. Reds struggle at home and against lefty pitching (10-23)
good luck guys
