St Lou by 18. Everything set for them indoor stadium. Just like home. N Eng win not a huge surprise. Big yes. But I was wondering if Pitt ma have left a little on the field beating there nasty rival Balt. Looked like they did. So N Eng's win did not show be anything super special. N Eng is not ready for this. St Lou is.

New England
Nonsense. Bill Belichik will have the Pats ready. That hasn't been a problem all year and it won't be now. The Pats biggest problem will be the speed of the Rams offense and yes, the fast turf.

But this defense is better than people want to think it is. Martz said after they played the Pats that they were the toughest defense he faced all year. We did lose to the Rams but it was only by 7. We may lose, we may not, but even if we do I seriously doubt we will lose by 18.

I hope the Pats win because they're my team, but I'm putting big money on at least a cover. And I'm confident.

I don't think anyone backing New England would want to use their first meeting as an indicator that this might be a close game. And why Martz said the Pats D was the toughest they have faced..I have no idea...Giants, Philly, and Tampa Bay defenses all clearly played the Rams tougher.

On the road and on grass Warner had his best game of the season, 30-42...400 yds passing...Billicheck's blitzing schemes didn't work well at all...add the turf and huge speed advantage for St Louis for this game.

Pats offense was ineffective as well againt the Rams D. Only one offensive TD and 230 yards of total offense..were outgained by 250.

Yes, they 'only' lost by 7pts..but St Louis proved to be the superior team at that point, on New England's turf...now on a neutral field, turf..dome...line looks right, if not a tad low IMHO.
