Series record: Louisville leads 3-1
This is the second straight road game for Louisville following an 85 - 40 thumping of South Florida last Saturday. ECU has lost three straight games, including their first two league games.

However, Mikules, the second leading scorer and rebounder for the pirates is out for the season with a broken hand. Mikules was shooting 62.2% from the field while averaging 13 PPG and 6 RPG. He was also one of East Carolinas best defensive players with 25 steals on the season, second only to Derrick Wiley.

The ECU Pirates are 1-4 ATS for the year, including a 68-71 home loss to Alabama Birmingham as a 1.5 pt. home favorite.

With Mikules out the Pirates will probably employ a three guard lineup against the Ville, with Mike Cook (8.1 PPG and 3.3 RPG) joining Japhett and Rivers, the thinking being this lineup will help off-set the Cardinals full court pressure.
However, Louisville goes ten deep, with all but the last couple of bench players in the rotation just as good as the first five.

I Loved Louisville at -11 with Mikules in the lineup for ECU, and I think his absence at the defensive end and on the boards will be even greater than the loss of points he contributed.

I look for Louisville to pull away in the second half and come away with an easy win.

Cards by 20+

Note* The last time the Pirates lost a starter they beat Marquette

Good Luck
