He bruised his tailbone badly and left the arena last nite in a wheelchair and will be out until at least the weekend, likely missing both Cleveland and the Warriors. Not the best games to be short an all-star.

For this Miami game, it will likely not be devastating. Delon Wright will slide into the rotation nicely, and he has been spelling Lowry off quite well, so this will not hurt the second team too much. If he struggles, VanVleet is available to move into the starters. The "new" style of moving the ball around means that one player is not so indispensable.

Miami is not a pushover, of course. They are playing well and, I believe, about 5 games above .500 and winning.

Toronto has been a killer at home and straight up this season, I think CNotes posted something with 14-1 record.

I will be parlaying them with the Pats and Steelers for the weekend, and likely doing that with the Thunder tonite as well.

Good luck All! :0008

Btw...Lowry was scheduled to have the night off tonight, anyway. So players are prepared.

What worries me a bit here is the no rest for Toronto, Miami in town having a good time a day early. Hope they had a really good time!

Also, lookahead spot for TOR with CLE and GS coming to town later this week. TOR should be fine in the 1H though
