I like this play for a number of reasons:
1) Cleveland State has been poor on the road, losing by 17, 8, and 13 at IUPUI, Stony Brook, and Fla State, respectively
2) Loyola has been undervalued this year, covering large numbers against good competition (Marquette, Illinois), and laying the wood to teams at home who are more in the class of Cleveland State (N Ill, TAMU-CC) plus a few others worse than Cleveland State
3) Loyola has been home since December 19, likely prepping for this weekend (Detroit comes in on Sat), so I expect they will be well-prepared
4) Off of the HUGE step down in competition (Loyola lost by 15 at Illinois on Saturday), Cleveland State will be a welcome sight
5) 0 and 4 the last 2 years versus Cleveland State (all single digit losses) may make revenge a factor here, as well
I'll take Loyola -- Loyola 75, Cleveland State 63.
