REALLY TRYING TO DIAL IT IN AND START MAKING BETTER DECISIONS AND STOP BETTING ON GAMES JUST TO HAVE ACTION. I USE TO BE MORE DISCIPLINED AND GOT AWAY FROM IT AND I CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE IN MY WALLET.

REGARDLESS, GOING TO TRY AND PICK SOME WINNERS AND HOPEFULLY GET ON A NICE ROLL GOING INTO TOURNAMENT TIME.

I NORMALLY DON?T DO A LOT OF WRITE UPS BC THEY TYPICALLY BITES ME IN THE ASS BUT THIS IS MORE FOR SOME FEEDBACK OR CONVERSATION BC I HAVN?T BEEN ABLE TO WATCH AS MUCH AS I NORMALLY HAVE AND TO BE HONEST I SEEM TO DO BETTER WHEN I DON?T WATCH GAMES...AT LEAST MY BLOOD PRESSURE AND HAS PROBABLY SAVED ME A FEW $$$FROM REPLACING REMOTES AND SPACKLE :mj16:

I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO WATCH MANY ZAGA OR BAYLOR GAMES BUT WHAT I HAVE SEEN THEY ARE STRONG. WITH THAT SAID, I HAVE WATCHED QUITE A FEW MICHIGAN GAMES AND I AM EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITH WHAT HOWARD HAS BEEN ABLE TO DO ESPECIALLY FOLLOWING SUCH A BIG NAME COLLEGE COACH. THEIR INTERIOR PASSING IS TIGHT. THEY ARE ATHLETIC AND PLAY VERY WELL TOGETHER ON BOTH ENDS.

THEY HAVE OWNED THE HOOSIERS PAST 3 OR 4 YRS & I THINK CLOSEST MARGIN HAS BEEN 11 OVER THAT PERIOD WITH SEVERAL 20+ AND ONE 30PT BEAT DOWNS.

I?M RIDING THIS HORSE UNTIL IT BUCKS ME OFF....SO THIS WILL PROBABLY BE THE DAY THE HOOSIES CONJURE UP THE SPIRIT OF 76 & BALL OUT.

DO YALL FEEL LIKE GONZAGA?S CONFERENCE SCHEDULE AND THE TALENT THEY FACE ON A REGULAR BASIS HURTS THEM EVERY YEAR IN REGARDS TO CLOSING THE DEAL AND WINNING A RING? I?M IMPRESSED WITH THE PROGRAM THEY HAVE BUILT AND WHAT THEY DO YEAR IN AND YEAR OUT BUT I BELIEVE IT HURTS THEM IN THE END BC THEY ARE NOT AS TESTED AS THE OTHER TEAMS IN POWER CONFERENCES....THEY ALWAYS ACE THE SEASON TEST AND SEEM TO FAIL THE FINAL EXAM...DAMN COLLEGE KIDS :142smilie

I LIKE TEXAS TODAY TOO....IF THEIR GUARDS SHOOT WELL AND THEY CONTROL THE OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE GLASS I THINK THEY WIN....THIS TEXAS TECH TEAM SEEMS TO UNDER ACHIEVE AND MAKE BONE HEAD TURNOVERS WHEN GAME IS ON THE LINE.....THESE ARE PROBABLY 2 OF THE WORST TEAMS ATS SO SOMEBODY HAS TO COVER.

LEANING ARK BUT I SURE DO LIKE WATCHING THAT KID THOMAS FOR LSU....TOO BAD BEAMER RETIRED, HE COULD HAVE HAD HIM A VT WITH THE WAY HE RECRUITED THAT CHESAPEAKE BAY AREA

PLAYED THESE FOR NOW

Like UNC or FSU?
Ky Or Fla?

EYE TEST I LIKE FSU BUT THE LINE MAKES ME LEAN UNC....THAT UVA BLOWOUT DOESN?T LOOK AS IMPRESSIVE SINCE THEY TURNED AROUND AND LOSE TO STATE AT HOME...DONT GET ME WRONG, FSU IS BEATING EVERYBODY IF THEY SHOOT LIKE THEY DID THAT NIGHT....I DO THINK UNC HAS SOME SIZE THAT COULD PRESENT SOME CHALLENGES.

I LIKE FLA IN THE OTHER ONE IF I PLAY IT :toast:

Good calls on Mich and UNC LP. Wanted to respond to your write up re Zags. I have followed this team pretty closely for years, and have had the opportunity to watch a fair amount of their games this year.

I agree that they are one of the biggest question mark teams, seemingly every year, for tourney time. Hard to argue with their results/record right now. They did have some impressive wins early against good teams. Not sure the Kansas team they beat is the same Kansas team now, but they did get W's against Iowa, WVU, totally dominated UVA. And of course, as you point out, it's the same old duck shoot year after year against their conf. If there's one question about this year's team (which might also be said about some past teams), they are especially vulnerable to a big, physical inside game. This showed up again for a few minutes even against one of their recent conf opponents (wish I could remember which one).

I just consulted a Sport Illustrated article which includes this stat-- the Zags' opponents are shooting 78.6% around the basket. "Timme is not much of a rim protector" "Timme is heavy-footed in space and can be foul-prone against physical bigs. There just aren?t many opponents with the requisite personnel to expose him."

I think teams that can play a big physical game, like Baylor and Michigan, present yet another roadblock to the Zags taking the final step. Of course, that also means the Zags would be back in the Final Four where they could just as easily beat anyone if all the pieces come together.

Good luck with your picks.

APPRECIATE THE RESPONSE, THAT 78.6% IS ALARMING AND WILL GET YOU BEAT. MICHIGAN IS THE BEST TEAM IVE WATCHED IMO....ACTUALLY TOOK KANSAS LAST MINUTE BUT WOW WHAT A GAME....BOTH THOSE TEAMS HAVE STRONG INSIDE GAME AND FEW THAT CAN FILL UP FROM 3.

WE SHALL SEE VERY SOON....HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD DAY....RIGHT NOW LOOKING AT MARYLAND AND OHST :0008
