In the best week of college football this classic SEC rivalry takes center stage. Ad your input, heres what I have. Auburn slightly 1 dimensional with the departure of (I believe 3 wr's to the NFL). If the run is stopped I am not sold on Brandon Cox beating you. LSU has the best secondary in the nation and has not allowed a touchdown since the SEC Championship last year, thats 3 games without allowing a TD!

Aubur does have LSU's former D coordinator Will Muschamp and thats big for Aub. I also feel Auburn outplayed LSU last season in death valley with Irons running for 220something yards. 5 missed kicks helped LSU's cause and game them the OT victory. I think this one comes down to a field goal and I like LSU getting the 3.5 but its a small play, the large play in this one is the UNDER 39.5. Both defenses are stellar and its going to be run V stop the run, the new clock rule adds to my belief that this game goes under the posted total. Should be a hell of a game. The fact that College Gameday is not there proves to me that the entire frieken world is on USC's dic_. Riduculous

So. Cal
sc-nebraska
a weekend in la

vs

lsu-auburn
a weekend in alabama

what guy on that gameday set would rather be in alabama......plus there are more starbucks in la right???

your sec game will be lucky to get #2 in ratings in its timeslot as nd-mich and the abc games (ore-ok and miami-lvlle) will likely draw higher ratings.

good luck

I can believe people give a rat's ass where the Gameday clowns go. Let's see.....the LSU game is on CBS and the USC game is on ABC...where did you think they would go. SUbstance left ESPN about 15 yearas ago...it's all about promotion and cross promotion.

plus the fact that Herbstreit is doing Sat Night Football for ABC (where USC/NB game is tonight), so if they were in Alabama, he would have to fly out to Cali before the game tonight. Makes sense to have it in California.

I agree w/ everything you said, the scales tip favorably for a weekend in LA over alabama

however, I would be surprised if the oklahoma/oregon game and miami/ l'ville game top the auburn/lsu game in the ratings:shrug:

MICH / ND will get the best ratings today around the country and world. As a whole ,today seems hyped when you look at the substance. From up north and east, who cares about Auburn & LSU ? I guess it matters where you live.

Who cares about LSU Auburn?

Who cares about LSU Auburn?

I realize you are not a fan of a winning team (see orioles avatar) but anyone with a pulse should want to see a great matchup of the 2 best teams in the best conference. You really look stupid saying something like who cares about #3 vs #6? Are you drunk already, next thing you will have a KC royals Avatar
