ESPN and Virginia Tech announced earlier today that the Hokies will face LSU on Saturday September 8th at 9:15 p.m. EST. The game will be televised by ESPN.
The home and home series originally was played at Virginia Tech back in 2002 where the Hokies won 26-8. Virginia Tech will kickoff their season a week earlier on September 1st when they face off against East Carolina.
The remainder of Virginia Tech's football schedule has not been set with the exception of two other ESPN games later in the year. The second on Thursday October 25th against Boston College and the third at Georgia Tech on Thursday November 1st. Both games will be televised at 7:45 p.m. EST.
