Luke Donald v. Padraig Harrington

Hey all,

This seems like a slam dunk to me. Let's go over some facts:

Donald: 11th on the money list, 5 top tens, one in a major.
Harrington: 64th on the list, 2 top tens, and a missed cut last week.

But, here's the big stat: considering Oakmont (which we all know and fear,) Donald's 68.4% driving accuracy against Harrington's 57.5% should make this a sure thing. We all know about the Oakmont rough. Also consider GIR's: Donald sporting a 64.5% while Harrington lags with 60.3%.

Why dont you compare world money list? You do realize that Padraig plays on the euro tour as well? I would take padraig in this matchup. But good luck..There is also a us open thread :SIB

Don't really understand this - why is the golf forum so opposed to people starting their own threads? Really wierd phenomenon in here - if people want to share their picks or info are they not allowed to start a thread? Enough to make some (myself included) not really want to share in here anymore

Well, there is a practical reason for posting in the one thread.....Stan does us all a huge favour by keeping a record of everyone's bets on the forum. I know I (and I assume others) find this a really interesting and valuable tool. So we would like to make it easier for him if at all possible and keep things in the one thread.

That aside, of course people can do as they wish. Open another thread. No harm done really.

lol why would that make you not want to post in here? Just seems strange, unless you are searching for attention maybe? Just busting your balls a bit Burns, i always look at your picks, but the reason we do it is to make it easy on Stan to add everything up, he helps us out a ton.
