Manhattan +15 over Iona **
Think Iona has the overall better team but think 15 points is a lot .Iona is not blowing teams out. And let not forget although Manhattan is on the road its only about 15-20 miles up the saw Mill River Drive or Hutchinson River parkway. One of those roads doesn't allow buses so it might take a few minute more if you take the Boston Post road back way. And both coaches have a lot of similarities Masiello and Pitino. Both the same size about 5'10,both Italian,both have black hair with gel on it and a perfect cut. Both wear expensive suits ,both on the bench emotional and both think their shit doesn't smell . Both have an air about them. Pitino knows Masiello very well. Masiello resigned and took the Louisville position a few years ago when but his resume made national news. He never graduated from college and his resume said he got a BA or BS from Louisville . It was a BS but not Bachelor of Science but real BS. Louisville didn't hire him and Manhattan took him back. So even though Pitino had all its problems with recruits and Italian restaurant tables that closed in Louisville you have these guys going head to head tonight. Not sure what any of this has to do with tonights game but I just want to give everyone a back drop on the game. And Masiello who is a phony and watching him coach with his chest out and hair perfect I am going to back tonight. And since he came back to manhattan he hasn't won or done anything. But he did take 2 courses at Manhattan and now has his degree. Thank god my father a manhattan graduate and a member of the " Tip in Club " passed away before all of this. So I didn't even mention one player in this handicapping post. Jaspers lose by 14 and I'll be happy .
Monmouth -4 over Peter **
Hawks are 9-0 ats and on fire . They are playing in Yantelli Center on the St Peter campus in Jersey City. Not sure if they ever fixed the yellow lights in that gym. Everyone looks yellow ,the players,refs ,the concession people and if you look at the person sitting next to you he or she is yellow. I just hope this Battle of Jersey the Hawks can see there own players.
Rider -1 over Quin **
The Rider team has the worst coach in D-1 . But I'm taking them because Vaughn who was the pre-season POY of the MAAC transferred out to Kansas ?? not sure but a big power 5 school . Then he realized he was not getting any playing time and transferred back to Rider and again this year was named Pre-season POY. I hate Rider and did win my last game with them but historically I'm 1-25 backing these Donkeys.. My bad Broncos'
Siena +6 over Marist **
I hate Siena and love Dunne the coach at Marist. This is a game I would be at instead of Tex St game last night.. if I didn't retire down here in Austin I love McCann the gym. I won 2 sectional titles in that gym and years later won a girls AAU team with my daughter . Its in Poughkeepsie and a few year back I parked so far away and walked to the gym. It was 5 degrees and a wind chill of -15. I had chest pains that night thinking it was from the cold air.Called my wife in Austin and she made me go to the doctor. the next day. 70 % Blockage in one of my artery's ' They put a stent in later the next day. I was at school and the Principal when they contacted my wife in Texas and said your husband failed the ekG and he needs to cone i today. I was doing hallway duty when my secretary said your wife has been calling you all day. My wife said your phone is off you need to go to the hospital right now. I told my secretary I was doing lunch duty and would go after lunch. They took me to the emergency room and had one of our hall monitors drive me there, I was dedicated though even with 70% blockage
