Its a game that I watched over the years. Its at Alumni Gym in Poughkeepsie on the Hudson. Iona can score avg almost 77 points a game They have the best player in the MAAC conf in Nelly Joseph and the best pure shooter in Slazinski . They play pressure defense Joseph in the middle is an impact player on both ends of the court. Clayton was a super frosh last yr and this year is leading scorer. Foxes have a tough time scoring but it will be even harder vs Iona's Pitino's pressure D. Nelly will control the paint and Iona will be off to the races.

Rider -1.5 over Quinnipiac
Rider just lost to Niagara but have played a tough schedule losing to Providence and Rutgers and Hofstra. Rider has Murray the pre-season MAAC POY and think they can beat Quinn at home tonight.

Niagara +3.5 over Fairfield **
Both teams are bad. Purple did beat Rider in last game and Fairfield lost to Rider in last game.

Manhattan +1 over Canisius **
Think Jaspers can get a home win tonight . Ant Nelson will lead his team on in Draddy Gym

Siena -8 over St Peter ***

Saints are riding McCollum and his scoring. Peter can't score avg 63 pts a game Can't shoot Ft's and on the road cannot win or cover. Saints coming off an 11 pt win over fairfield Peter is 0-8 ats on the road.

Columbia has more team players with higher SAT scores then the Tigers But Tigers have more team players that can make a layup

Texas coach was fired last night . Think he was guilty but no one knows the whole story . Now he might try to fight his $5 million contract but the state of Texas has a sovereignty law that you can't sue a state institution . Only thru the Texas legislators.. Crazy law and the only state in the US that has that.
In domestic abuse cases over 65% of the victims renege on their 1st claim of abuse . But in Beard's case she had marks and bruises to back the original police report. She has taken blame and said she was at fault and original police report she gave was false. But the marks on her neck she couldn't explain . What a sad story Glad the Buffalo DB is awake and asked " did we win". Going to the Baylor Kansas St game tomorrow afternoon in Waco Sorry about Tex St game yesterday did trying to figure it out

Box, Did the lady(?) say coach B gave her the bruises? How old were the marks and bruises? You do know in America we assume innocence until PROVEN guilty. I think UT was afraid of the "cancel culture" hurting their brand. How is it that UT would hire Sark with his PROVEN baggage but not allow Beard the presumption of innocence? The lady(?) said she LIED. Why don't they believe her now, if they believed her at the time of the incident? The chairman of the board of regents might have a personal grievance against Beard, leading to the dismissal. Only two people know what happened that night and all we know is that the accuser said she lied at that time. Seems a little premature to fire him without a thorough examination of the facts.

Dog lover His girlfriend showed the bruises to the police and they took pictures She recanted everything she told police and blamed herself . most of the time you can see fresh injuries and she had a bite mark which would be tough to inflict on her self. Her throat had red marks which we can conclude were fresh . She could of inflicted some self wounds but when the police take pictures of the injuries they take different angles knowing in court these pictures will be used. The accuser does have a track record of lying . Was she exaggerating.. I like you thought they should wait so all the facts are there. But I think the Ath Dir, President and some Texas administrators know all the facts so they fired him They know he can sue for some back pay but if sues then all the facts can come out to the public Beard wants to clear his name because he thinks he is innocent but I think ' they have all the goods on him" To fire him now they know something we don't know . With this sovereignty Texas law he can sue but cannot win .Texas Tech did it to Leach and many said Leach was innocent .. Again I don't think it was premature unless you know all the facts. Think Texas knows the facts and knows they will win in any court. Its such a sad event. Going to the baylor game tomorrow afternoon with you know who .. take care
