Well, after a horrendous week one I've managed to scratch and claw my way back into the black. Hope to keep it this way.

N. Illinois/ E Mich under 57 One unit

With the status Of Nicholson still unknown, I still feel comfortable making this play now. If he goes I think his throws will be limited and the Huskies will try to grind it out with the running game. If he does not play, better yet.

EMU's big problem has been giving up long scoring plays. I'm not sure that NIU can exploit that weakness without a quality, healthy QB here.

Illinois +15 vs Penn State one unit

just feel that giving a solid team like Illinois better than 2 TDs is a bargain. I know that the Lions are loaded but stomping the likes of Coastal Carolina, Temple and 'Cuse doesn't prove much. Think Illinois can keep this one interesting.

maybe a couple more later

Thanks Whitt.

Just as a FYI, Nicholson had a cortisone injection and is feeling better. he should get the start for NIU. I would have bumped that play up had he not responded well to treatment.

Adding:
Cinci - 10 as a one unit play

Spang Take a look at Ball St I know big price. All so C Mich. Good Luck!!!!

I know Goat, I love Ball St. I have watched them play 3 times this year and really like that team. It's also homecoming and a big crowd is expected.

The only thing stopping me from playing the Card's at this point is wondering how they respond to to the tragic injury to Dante Love.
After their big win at Indiana its been a very emotional period for the players and staff. Gut feeling is that they will be fired up and put up their best effort for Dante.

How Kent state got this bad is beyond me. I really thought they had a chance to have a good season.

What do you think about N. Ill minus 6.5?

I think that one of these days that EMU will play a clean game and bite somebody in the ass. I like them in the role of a home dog but God only knows when they will get it done. If playing them I'd try to find +7,but I'll just stick with my under play.

Spang what you think about W. Mich -4?

They are getting a lot of love here from others, and with pretty good reason. The injury to Temple QB DiMichele may be a devastating blow to the Owls. I actually think that Temple has been better than expected and has been competitive with evrybody other than Penn State. They could just as easily be 3-1 than the 1-3 record that they bring into this one, and their defense is pretty solid.

Western has some holes in their secondary, but will the redshirt freshman Stewart have the game to exploit it? thats the big question. If he can make a few big plays, Temple can be right there in the end.

I'm staying away but I can certainly understand the support I've seen for the Broncos.

Yeah, I like the over. If Stewart is good, fine. If he's horrible, Broncs get some short fields to work with. I didn't post a play on it. just a very small one for me as I do have some respect for the Owl defense.

Rant: GD L'Ville:mad: almost a 2/1 advantage in yardage and cant(well) get it done. Those are the losses that hurt.

N. Ill/E Mich has dropped to 53! Might want to think of a middle if it drops anymore....
