Toledo
Missouri -3 @ Bowling Green
Central Michigan -2 @ Akron <~~ Little info to change my mind

Adding Miami(OH) +14(bought half point) @ LSU

Write ups coming later

That Toledo line dropped from +8.5 to +7
Miami(OH) line going up from +12.5 to +14

For those interested in playing Northern Illinois against Wisconsin...Thomas Hammock is not playing....

Iam kinda liking Western Michigan +17 as well...

That Missouri line also caught my eye. Any chances of a trap since line was expected to be higher. Are we missing something?

Also, another game that caught my eye was Minnesota -8.5 but I see line has dropped to -6. You would think Minn would be the play. At home and revenge factor. What's your take?

Yea I dont undertand why the line is low in the Mizzou game, perhaps because BG beat them last year at Mizzou and now they are at home as a dog

Regardless I had this game circled since June and I think Gary Pinkel is gonna put his foot up there ass. BG is not the same team they were last year...and thats why I dont think they will win the MAC West and go for the MAC Championship. BG lost the part of that defense form last year....the DLine. The secondary sucks...and they linebackers are average. Now that Pinkel and his crew have a year under there belt, they are a better team obvisouly. Also, he has his players now...his recruits! Down in Bowling Green the injury bug is lurking around.

Will Teague, Sr D end and Andy Grubb, Soph DT both out with injuries.Teague's ankle injury means he will miss the season and Grubb broke a bone in his foot...out indefinitely.

As far as the Toledo-Minny game is concerned....Toledo has surprised me in a few ways. They played 2 games...granted is was 2 hsit teams BUT like 6 different people got to score including my new favorite person - Quiton Broussard. Toledo has decided to go 5 DEEP in the tailbacks department...all of them have played...and will continue to play throughout the season from what I heard. But if you were at the Eastern Michigan game like I was....you could clearly see the weakness for the Rockets. The secondary sucks and the DLine still needs improvement. I think Toledo has the best OLine in the MAC and they are veterans. The QB thing is still up for grabs at Toledo...half say they want Brian Jones..the other half - including me want Cedric Stevens....so coach Amstutz will more then likely play them both. Iam staying away from this game because I want to see what Toledo can do more of and what happens when a Big Ten team hits them in the mouth. I think Minny SHOULD cover...but like I said Iam staying away...

honolulu, Hi, USA
Thanx for the info. Have already put my $ on Missouri. How about my GOW: Miami-Fla? Oregon State demolished Temple at Temple. Now the Hurricanes come to town. Can't see Temple scoring at all. High points but will go against my better judgement and lay it. I think Miami can score 38 by the 1st half.

I think you're seeing lower lines in favor of MAC teams because of a few reasons. One, I think the odds makers are finally respecting the MAC. Miami O proved they can compete with NC and Iowa, winning one outright as a 5-7 point dog and covering in a close game they could of won. I think they're thinking of this when they're lining games, especially when they're at a upper level MAC teams' home field.

I also think you get a ripple effect from the reason stated above, but also from all the pub that Leftwich and Marshall is getting. Even though Marshall isn't an original MAC team and they have an arrogance about them, the attention is great for the MAC and a real shot in the arm for the conference.

Either way, I do agree the Mizzou line looks a little low. Like Hellah said, Pinkel would love to beat his old rival in their house and I think they have the horses to do so. BG is somewhat weaker this year and Mizzou is definitely stronger.

JMO...
