MAC tonite.....dogs
Tough games tonite in the MAC.Someone asked why I like the MAC.Mainly because I've had more of my players recruited from the MAC then any other conf.Plus I know most of the coaches and worked camps with them over the yrs.Does that mean I can pick winners better.hell no.
Here goes.No strong plays tonite.
Iona+3 over Niagara
In MAC stats teams are almost even across the bd.Iona leads the MAC in off. rebounding and the Purples in def. bds.Iona does have a better defense and are quicker.Their FG% defense is much better then the Purple.Iona scares me because they really have one person who can shoot in Woffard.Fields inside is tough and he can hit a 10 ft'er.Dyree is athletic but still in a slump.Aces have Greene who can score and deardon and Reaves.They are a notch better on offense.
Iona is last in the MAC in TO's.Unreal how stupid some of their passes are.But Niagara is 2nd to last in TO's.So tonite some Purple fans should get hit with a couple of errant passes.
Iona is 5-6 ats away where Niagara is an amazing 1-7 ats at home.These teams are pretty even so I see this game going right down to who has the ball in the last few seconds.I'll grab the pts here since Iona could win it outright.
Small play but I'll really roll the dice here and take Loy-Md +3 over Canisiuis.Loy is last in defense,last in another 10 catogories in the MAC.In last place with 17 losses.Cannot shoot FT's[61%]can't stop anybody on defense.But the Griffs on the road are terrible.Loy has played tough at home despite losing.They are 2-17 yet 4-1 ats at home.They lost to Manhattan,Siena,Iona by 5 or 6 pts and covered them all.In comes the Griffs who are 6-10 ats and 2-5 ats away.Small play on Loy-Mds to maybe get a rare win at home.
And while I'm at it I'll take st peters +6.5 over the tough Rider team with superstud Porter.Rider on paper should win by double figures.Everything favors Rider.MAC stats,ats records.But peter has been playing a little better.Just lost by 7 to Rider in their gym.Beat Canisius,covered at Manhattan.I'll take the pts here for a small play.

Probaly passing but Columbia the last 5 times in Princeton has lost by 17,29,36,13,and 15.Maybe a tiny play on Princeton -9.
