Larry Williams is gonna play basketball and I think he`s playing tomorrow for NIU. Larry Williams was All-MAC this year (1st team) as a D End for the Huskies. He`ll be in the NFL no doubt, but seeing him on the hardwood sure makes me more confident about this pick :)

NIU also has a freshman walk on named Maestraenzi who hit 6 treys the other night. I saw this kid play in HS and the word was he could've gone to Duke if he was 6'2 (he's 5'10). I see it didn't take long for him to make an impact.

Should also point out that Drake is just coming off the long trip back from Hawaii.

Can you provide more insight here. It seems pretty clear to me that this game should be close. How do you explain Buffalo getting 8.5. On the road should not adjust that much. Is there a mis match in the line ups, or is someone not palying?

I`ll keep my eye on him when the Huskies come to the Glass City.

Mush - Well on of the guys that was suppose to step up and replace Keith McCloud, Germain Fitch just had season ending knee surgery. Remember the name Mark Bortz for Buffalo...cuz he`s good. I think Buffalo will win the inside battle, and I think from watching them in years past....they will fight for everything, considering its Buffalo and they are an underdog in almost everything, I think they know that :)

Hey hellah10 BG was dominated Buffalo the last two years, really easy, what do the difference this year? I mean you know the dominance of some teams over other teams almost always, yes, of course and I accept I do not know anything about the cbb of the MAC I am just looking numbers!!

Because Dan Dakich lost all his players including All-American Keith McCloud and he has to replace them all. He is forced to have a small yet quick line-up on the floor. I just think they are rebuilding.

Ok, thanks hellah10, the rebuilding always is hard more if you are not Duke, NC or that type of Schools!!!

I like the way Buffalo was playing I am thinking in ride this team, I just hope the color of the uniforms just do the work, like Dallas/Wash on the NFL!, hehe

good luck

Javier :D

You maybe right about Kent St....but Iam gonna bite. They have lots of talent even though they lost Huffman. Gates should/hope dominate tonight...

Yeah, I like the bulls as well here, Bortz and battle are solid but still must overcome the Falcons tough home floor.

Also like the young Zips vs CSU tonight. The Zips are looking to be a much improved team this year behind J C transfer Tarver who will be among the MAC scoring leaders at seasons end.
CSU will enjoy a size advantage down low, but Akron should negate this by getting up and down the floor in rapid fashion.

Always like Charlie Coles getting points at home as well but will play the redhawks very small in that one.

Nope...BG is not that good at all. They are very inexperienced. BUT they play extremely hard, due to the fact that they are well coached. I will give ya a tip on BG sports in general. BG basketball--DO NOT BET AGAINST THEM AT HOME!! It gets very loud, and it gets them really pumped up and they play extremely tenacious. They will then go on the road and look like a completely different team. I suspect that this BG team will set a new standard for bad play on the road being so young. But stay away from those BG home games

He`s 100% correct on that statement. Despite losing 2 KEY players, they destroy Buffalo....amazing. In fact, I was told all day by my friends not to go against BG at Andersen Arena.

Oh well....win some lose some

For the night 3-1, 0-1

MAC YTD
7-8 ATS (almost back to .500, been 5-1 my last 6 games...)
0-1 MLs
