Macbook - How long?

Does it take to get used to these computers? Seen what my friends can do with them and it's pretty impressive (and some of them don't even have leopard). I've had mine for a day and a half and I'm still trying to get used to it. I want to be proficient with it soon. Maybe I should get a book or read up on it more.

been an mac man myself my whole life but from what i've seen on PC's the operating system is not that much different, it's just cooler. You don't need a book you just have to get use to finding were all the settings and utilities are but use the "help" feature as much as possible to find things or when you are stuck, it's all you'll need.

i have the macbook pro, only took about a week or so to get completley used to it
