Tourney: 13-20 -$1,820
Made up some ground Sunday. Need another night or 2 like that to get green...
3 teams still left in the pre-tourney futures played:
Creighton to win south (100/750); win NC (100/3500)
Miami to win midwest (100/1400); win NC (100/5800)
UCONN to win west (100/400); NC (100/2000)
Tonight:
Kansas St +2 330/300
Wildcats have been getting little respect as they are the dog, again, against a lower rated seed. Nowell v Tyson Walker could be one of my fav match-ups to watch in this round. Think Kyrie-lite (Nowell) makes 1 more big shot.
UCONN -3.5 1100/1000
Huskies seemed to play around in each first half against Iona & Marys, only to turn it on in the 2nd half and run very far away from each. I think they could do that again, here, and the same result could transpire. Hogs are uber-talented, but I find it hard to believe they will be able to separate from UCONN even if they play dumb for the first 20+ min(that and the Hogs can't shoot). This reminds me of Hogs v Duke, last year, and I see a similar ending.
FAU +6 330/300
This feels like the perfect spot for the Vols to roll over n die. Can't really say FAU has been impressive (beating Memphis and FDU), but 33-3 is well, 33-3 (impressive).
No play on Zaga/UCLA, but would lean Zags.
