What's your opinion? Both are quality, but to me NCAA is a little smoother to play. The graphics on both are exceptional. On madded, you have to deal with the salary cap, trading, and free agency. On NCAA, you have to recruit players which I think is really sweet. Nessler, Herbstreit, and coach to me are better than the combo of Michaels and Madden. Melissa Stark's presence on the game would be much better if she were pictured.

I like Madden, a lot. I just picked up an online adapter and will be logging on ASAP to test out the online capabilities of this game. IMHO a game can only be fun for so long unless you add something like online play.

Anyone else get the adapter up for a game this weekend?

Naked is right. My wife gets pissed during MNF when she comes on and I rewind the segment with TIVO and watch her again.

I prefer NCAA 2003, what a fantastic game.

The best part about it is the school's fighting songs, all the mascots, and the recruiting system,

;)

I love the recruiting part of the game. Makes it more interesting I think. Also something about being able to run the option. I wouldn't have bought Madden, but I got it for $30. Circuit City had a price sticker out that was incorrect so they gave it to me for 29.99. It was like the lions giving up 10 pts to the rams, couldn't walk away from it.

The game is pretty unbelievable. Every year it seems to get a little bit better, and online play is really the icing on the cake.

Head to nearest Circuit City/Best Buy and buy online adapter for PS2. I chose Circuit City, they were sold out but easily punched up the nearest store with them in stock. Costs $40.

Plug into back of PS2, plug in phone or DSL/Cable line.

Insert network startup disk. Disk will walk you through connecting to your ISP. Took me 2 minutes or so to get it to connect to my DSL provider.

Restart with Madden 2K3 disk. Select online under play modes.

Real easy to do.

I like NCAA better.

NCAA has smother game play. It also has more plays especially on defense. It also is a lot easier to tell what the hell is going on in a play when you have to pick it.

Madden seems to be jerkier or something. Not to mention I can hardly here Al Michaels and he speaks in the most monitone voice the entire time.

The recruiting is great in NCAA also. It will be interesting to see how free agency works in Madden. I am not there yet. Madden has not camptivated me like NCAA did.

Great games Acehist8..... we'll have to play again sometime.... My D helped me to the win on that 2nd game with those picks....

Constant battle back and forth both games.... adjusting to different styles back and forth.... it was fun..

gotta go though... talk to you later..
