Round 1 play (2pts):

Chris Wood to beat Thorbjorn Olesen +100 @ Stan James [also available @ Bet365 and Paddy Power]
I'll take these odds on Wood as an underdog for a small play on a new course and event. Wood has been in good form recently with three top-10 finishes in his last nine starts, whereas Olesen has missed the cut in four of his last seven and nine of his last fifteen cuts. In terms of their h2h stats, Wood has finished ahead of Olesen in each of their last three common events in Europe and while some may view playing in home country as an advantage, Olesen is not so sure: "There's probably more pressure on us Danes than in a normal European Tour tournament". With this being the first European Tour event in Denmark, I'd agree with the extra pressure element.

[unofficial rd1 system plays: Aguilar tb Lampert -110; Fisher tb Stal -110; Baldwin tb Waring -114]

Round 2 play (2pts):

Tom Lewis to beat Morten Orum Madsen +100 @ Bet365
Danish home advantage was clearly an issue today and Madsen used it well to finish the day in 14th place. However, as he has missed six of his last eight cuts and broken 70 just twice in his last 21 rounds, it appears unlikely that he will continue his newly-discovered form for another day. Lewis hit more fairways and greens than Madsen today and is in enough form to take advantage of any troubles Madsen may have tomorrow.

Round 3 play (2pts):

Kristoffer Broberg to beat Tom Lewis -140 @ Pinnacle [also available @ 5Dimes]
With two top-3 finishes in his last five starts, Broberg is clearly the form player in the matchup, particularly as Lewis has finished mc-72nd-63rd-64th in his last four starts. He has shown on previous occasions that he can have very strong purple patches of form and his 67 today lifted him 60 places up the leaderboard. He has the momentum against a player who started today's round well, but fell back significantly when 2-over-par for his last eight holes.

[unofficial rd3 system plays: Grillo tb Nixon -110; Drysdale tb Wakefield -110]

Round 4 play (2pts):

Gareth Maybin to beat Bradley Dredge -110 @ Pinnacle [also available @ 5Dimes]
It has been over four years snce Dredge last led a Tour event after 54 holes and he failed to win that time. In fact, he has failed to win from 1st place at the start on rd4 on each of the last six times that he has been in this position. Given that he ranks outside the top-20 this week in driving distance, driving accuracy, greens in regulation and scrambling, it is clear that his ball-striking is not the reason why he is leading this event. Maybin ranks 1st in driving accuracy and 2nd in greens in regulation so looks to be far more deserving of his current position, just three shots behind Dredge.

[unofficial rd4 system play: Wakefield tb Dredge -120]
