Most books have a rule about this, better check the fine print.

I never understood this way of betting. 5 guys put up $200 each on a bet to win $1000 pot that gets split $200 each. Why not bet the $200 on your own and have total control. I don't get it.

Well I was just trying to set up a syndicate where we started with a 2000 bank giving us 10 200 dollar bets to lose but hell if jack isnt cool with it???
So I'm canceling the syndacate.

I'm interested, but curious - how are you thinking you'd determine which plays are made? Group discussion (text, zoom, etc) and majority vote determines, or one decision maker? I've thrown $200 at worse. I'm intrigued and interested if you're serious.
