What do you guys think. A couple guys live here in Vegas, of course myself, Frank S. During a big fight weekend would make sense. 9/15 is one of them. Plenty of time ahead for planning. We'll all meet at Mandalay or MGM for a nice fat steak dinner!!

Does this include getting us good tickets to the fight? 9/15 is bad for me but if you are in the know and can get tickets now that is another question punch..
I think your vision is a little narrow here BL. It's obviously not just that we live here, it's VEGAS , the boxing capital of the world with many major fights, isn't that what were into?. Don't you think there's a little more appeal than say Detroit, Houston, or Sacramento. Southern Cal is fine with me, near the ocean, but preferably on a fight weekend like this one- Margarito Williams in Los Angeles

I never said it was a bad idea and I never said Vegas wasn't the perfect spot. I merely pointed out that the only guys fired up about the idea are guys who live there, its not as easy for the rest of us.
OK frank, question...If we all decided to do this in NY or NJ, would you make the trip to see a bunch of guys you don't really know?
Seeing as how I used to live in NY, maybe not. I understand you point. You are always a logical guy. I think the situation here is it's VEGAS BABY sort of thing. Lots of boxing; way more than back east. I'm content just being part of our discourse here. Actually, I only made contact with one guy due to my interest in boxing. Was from the east coast; stand up guy. We still communicate but don't socialize or anything. I certaintly would'nt want to encounter gardenweasel!!! Or worse yet almly. I'm moving next week anyway!
