entry will be $50, email ie2002@hotmail.com for details to send $$$ subject poker league. must be in by 1st game, no exceptions

league will last 10 weeks- ur top 8 scores will count toward final tally
example-20 entrys
1st gets 40 pts +5 for winning 45 -pt
2nd gets 38 pt +2 for 2nd 40 pt
3rd gets 36
4th -34
19th-4
20th-2
all no shows get 2pt, last gets corresponding #, say 15th-10pt

will need a volunteer to keep a tally, im not an excel wiz, & when im waxing everyones ass, dont want to be called a cheater :0003

20X50= 1000
1st each get $20
2nd-$10
league
4th-50
3rd-100
2nd-200
1st-350

Just a question HC. What if some other people want to join that couldn't play last nite. Then everything changes again or do we just stay with the 13 people from last nite through the 10 weeks. Surely we will allow other players assuming they have paid the entry fees.

want to start a discussion about instead of a league just have nightly touneys like 1vice =but better, 2-3 nites a wk, league thing i guess to much time committment, other activities, winter prob better , could start some tournys later for west coast, play when your able, need your input, the current league will be completed 1st

For the most part I agree with what Amethyest suggested, but I also find merit in sng's a few times a week. Unless we were to get at least 20 players regularly for the league, playing 8-10 weeks for $275 + may not be worth all the regimentation, record keeping, payouts etc

If we average 10 players for regular $5 sngs a few times a week, paying 2 spots it would seem to be just as profitable if not more so and we have none of the extra hassles. Also anyone can join in anytime. I have my doubts that this idea would work until after football season, but just my 2 cents worth.

We have started the league and I agree that we finish it and then re-evaluate.
I thoroughly enjoyed the bounty concept but see no way we can incorporate it into the league without additional fees.
