Finally a solid day. 6-1 posted. A little better in real life but whatevas. Saturday's have been great lately.
As for Sunday's, they've gone W-L-W-L...?...the last 4 weeks so I hope the pattern continues (until next week only).

--Mich.St's top 3-point man (key assist man, too) Chris Allen got hurt late in round 1 but will play (I'm assuming) though not at 100%; top-scorer Kalin Lucas hurt his ankle late, also, but that one doesn't sound serious and he's listed as probable
--5 of the 6 teams that returned all 5 starters (according to a post) from last year are still in the tourney (Kansas toast) including giant-killer n.iowa; Cornell falls into the category of plenty of experience and I expect them to come out with a lot of energy...want a 1H play but I can't get a moneyline presently (only +2.5 -110); hard to see them losing by DD and a win seems more than possible (p.s. I had Temple, going against my first instincts)
--aside from the N.Dame encounters, Pitt has looked good lately; Xavier went 2-7 vs tourney teams during the regular season while Pitt went 7-5
--A&M is a solid 1H team while Purdue hasn't been lately; with a lead to the locker room I'm sure it will be stressed how the Boiler's started the 2nd vs Siena; a 2H play might be worthwhile depending on score, line, fouls, etc
--Pac-10 teams are a bitch to 'cap (for me) and I think that Duke might just dismantle them--serious size advantage...talent advantage, in general
--right or wrong, I figured that the other #1's would be pumped after Kansas was sent packing (upped my Kentucky play but supposed effect might wear out with both time AND the expectation of having to face Kentucky) which might further encourage Duke...Syracuse has the tougher opponent, IMO, and they closed pre-tourney pretty shitty (before avenging Vermont
)
--looking at the 1H results from the last 8 or 9 games for each team, the 3 late games appear heavily to favor the 3 I'm trying, particularly Duke, for what it's worth
