NBA Finals Betting ? Magic Need A Super Performance To Tie Series

The Los Angeles Lakers went back to the drawing board after Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Some teams have off nights defensively, some teams have a few strategic breakdowns, and then there?s what the Lakers defense did on Tuesday.
The Lakers allowed the Orlando Magic to shoot 62.5% from the field, which is an NBA Finals record.
Don?t expect that to happen again as the NBA Championship odds indicate that it?s highly unlikely.
The Magic have been very hot and cold in this series. They shot just 29% from the field in Game 1 but obviously improved that by more than 30% in Game 3. The problem for Orlando is that when they shot poorly, they lost by 25 points in Game 1. When they shot the lights out, they won by just four points.
As well as the Magic shot in Game 3, they simply hit tough shots. The Lakers defense was just as solid as it was in Games 1 and 2 but the difference was that the Magic?s shots were sinking.
One concern for the Magic should be that for the third time in this series, their defense hasn?t been up to snuff. The Lakers shot over 50% from the field themselves and again scored over 100 points.
Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom were once against dominant on the interior, which has really created some matchup problems for the Magic.
The Lakers are focused right now and they are playing with good intensity. While they were slightly outplayed in Game 3, look for them to keep it close and squeak out a wine in Game 4 to take a 3-1 series chokehold.
