Yesterday I published some moving average stats using previous seven days of data on away/home, dog/favorites and over/unders.

Note the one on dogs/favorites.

I noted in another thread that it was unusual for the profit to get that far out of average and that in the long run everything tends to average out.

Yesterday the UNDERDOG INDEX (as I call it) was very high +1025 and last night the favorites went 12-2. I am going to start keeping a close watch on this and when any of the six possible indexes (home, away, favorite, dog, over, under) get up over +1000 in a seven day period I will publish what I will call an MAI Alert. (Moving Average Index Alert). I only look at positive indexes since negative indexes reflect more vig and that can sometimes be substantial.

Here is what it looks like now after yesterday's correction.

UNDERDOGS
Su 38-56 40% -249
Mo 41-56 42% +45
Tu 44-50 47% +1025 (see how high the index was yesterday)
We 39-54 42% -74

Note: This is something I have been experimenting with that I am just now starting to see how effective it can be. I wish I had paid attention to it yesterday.

There is no way in the world I should have played TAM (or any other dog) yesterday. Let's see if this indicator shows consistency over time. I think it will because it is based on sound mathematic principles.
