Yesterday's Recap:
2-1 +2.80 Units
Overall Second Half (July 1st & After)
28-20-1 +18.64 Units

What a weird day yesterday, I had five plays and got to count only three. First game of the Yanks Vs. Tigers I got a no action because of a pitching change..... and then a transformer in SD blows up and that game is suspended.........

I have one afternoon game so far that looks playable just waiting for the starting lineups........ will be back shortly.

Atl Braves Vs. Cin Reds Under 9 +109
Risking 2.00 Units to Win 2.18

Not much time so I will keep this brief. The Atlanta bullpen is extremely rested should they be called upon late in the game. Burkett has been fantastic as the under has come thru in 7 of his last 9 starts. He has a impressive 2.44 road ERA as well. In the last ten Reds game the Under has prevailed 7 times with one push. If Brower does struggle early in this one, Sullivan and Graves are available which helps out immensely. Finally, Chuck Merriweather is behind the plate and in 19 home plate appearances the under has come thru a whopping 15 times. So, that doesn't hurt. Oh yeah, anytime I can get a +109 on a total I like it is a beautiful thing.

Be back later and good luck all,
HC

Good info -- I leaned toward the under, but this info clinches it.

Thanks for the insight, and good luck.

I have two more that I am going with both are evening games........ Well, with these two the chalk might hit the fan, but Fletch says sometimes the best value is cashing a ticket so here we roll.....

SF Giants -135 Col Rockies
Risking 2.70 Units to Win 2.00 Units

Nice low deflated number at home for the Giants. More than likely this low becuase Bonds more than likely won't play. Fine with me, one man does not make a team.
Chacon gets the start for the Rockies tonite and an amusing angle happens when he throws back to back starts with over a 100 pitches, the next game he gets hammered!!! Three times this season he has gone back to back outings with 100 pitches or more. Check out what happens in the start immediately after.
5.0 IP 5 Earned Runs
6.0 IP 5 Earned Runs
5.0 IP 6 Earned Runs
Plus the Rockies bullpen is an absolute joke!!! Colorado has lost 22 out of their last 26 games. They are 13 games .500 on the road. SF is 13 games above .500 at Pac Bell. The Rockies also struggle Vs. Lefties. Hitting .242 Overall .221 On the road. Man that -135 is looking better and better.

Sea Mariners -175 KC Royals
Risking 2.25 Units to win 1.28 Units

I am playing this high a chalk soley on Freddy Garcia and the Mariners bullpen, when the numbers are looked at this play can be verified. Garcia on the road is 5-0 with a 2.68 ERA, in July he is 3-0 with a 0.72 ERA, in Night games he is incredible 8-1 with a 2.40 ERA. I guess opponents can't pick up those pitches under the lights. Right handed hitters are only poking him at a .186 average, that will help neutralize Dye, Sweeney, and Randa. Finally and possibly the most impressive stat, with runners in scoring position and two outs opponents are hitting .068. Oh yeah, in the last ten games the Mariners bullpen ERA is 0.36.

Good luck again everyone,
HC
