Things are heating up on Big Brother 8 and betED.com is giving bettors a chance to make a buck off the hit CBS reality series.
The next houseguest will be evicted on Thursday ? Day 41 of the show ? the fifth evictee since Big Brother 8 kicked off July 1.
One houseguest who doesn?t have to worry about getting the boot this week is Eric, who betED.com has as the slight favorite (+500) to emerge the winner, followed by Daniele (+550) and Kail and Nick (both +700).
For those unfamiliar with the show?s concept, the contestants all live in Big Brother House, and each week a ?Head of the Household? chooses a competition and nominates contestants who will face eviction that week.
This week, Daniele was the Head of the Household, and the competition involved houseguests hanging upside down on elevated pendulums. The last player hanging won.
At the eviction ceremony, Daniele drew the first key belonging to Dustin. Eric's key was revealed next and then Jameka's. Amber and Dick were told they were safe, followed by Jessica and Zach. Eventually, Kail and Jen were nominated for eviction ? the third consecutive week they?ve been nominated.
But later, in the privacy of the diary room, Daniele revealed that her real plan is not to evict Kail and Jen. Instead, her true target is another houseguest, and she indicated it will be quite a shock when that person?s identity is revealed.
