Rusty I think it is the way to go if you plan on holding the Alt for the long term.

I use both the ledger nano s & Trezor.

Nano supports NEO so i got it.
Other then that I prefer Trezor.

I agree with Tulah. The Trezor is superior in almost every aspect except the Ledger interacts with more coins. I hate the loading/unloading of apps on the Ledger because it can only hold 3 at at time.

If you just want to store BTC and some alts and aren't moving huge amounts of the ledger specific coins I would definitely get a Trezor

I have both the Trezor and Ledger Nano S. Like the Trezor more. For the Leger I just go straight to MEW and login. I bypass all those wallets. Unless i'm doing it wrong.

I have the Ledger Blue. Pretty cool little unit. Was having issue's though with the ripple wallet on it. Was having problems sending ripple to the network for transfer and a couple of times it showed a balance of zero trying to give me a damn heart attack. Only have BTC on it now. I am going to check out the Trezor!

Thanks

Thanks guys I don't move in and out just want to keep them in a safe place I canceled the nano and going to get the trezor today. Going to buy a bitcoin and put it in there and wait on the 100,000 k to hit . I have a few alt coins but nothing big at this time I am worried about hackers wanting.

Thanks again
