I see an appellate judge just ordered the release of Brendan Dassey of the "Making a Murderer" fame. Evidently the judge wasn't too impressed with the interrogation of the kid by law enforcement without having an attorney present. Also, the judge was concerned that Brendan has a limited intelligence, and the cops took advantage of him.

I'm shocked it took this long.

I have no problem with them re-trying him. The way the police/investigation in this entire case took place and went down is almost comical it took this many years for someone with the power to do something about it to acknowledge it. I'm not sure who did it, and I'm not entirely convinced who's guilty or innocent. Just makes me :scared to think law enforcement could do the shady things they did and get away with it. What if you're innocent?

i know what I would do. Tell them I want a lawyer and not another word.

I watched the documentary and I thought he was not guilty

Some "expert" I saw a video on was saying the same thing. He said thats the biggest point in proving someone really isn't all there mentally. The average person is intelligent enough to lawyer up. The not so intelligent think "I gotta get myself out of this."
